Located at 1312 South Wabash, just minutes away from McCormick Place Convention Center, Gioco is in an area of the South Loop once dominated by speakeasies and other prohibition-era establishments (including Al Capone's headquarters), Gioco offers a Prohibition feel with its dark, intimate rooms, exposed original brick and plaster walls, mahogany accents, and amber back-lit bar. It even features an authentic Prohibition-era 'speakeasy,' with a hidden alley entrance beneath the El tracks, allowing late-night guests to slip into the back of the restaurant.

 

Gioco's menu offers rustic Italian dishes prepared with the finest available seasonal products. The menu features the Tagliatta, a bone in Porterhouse, Grilled Fontina Stuffed Pork Chop, mouthwatering seafood, homemade pastas and wood-fired thin-crust pizzas. Vanilla-scented crème brulee and Tiramisu are just a few of their tempting desserts. Gioco also boasts a storefront that will open for alfresco dining, weather permitting.
